GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position is under the direct supervision of the Human Resources Specialist. Performs human resources management and related duties. Work involves disseminating information, maintaining filling systems, and general administrative support work. Works under moderate supervision with limited latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. Develops, coordinates, and maintains HR information. Additional duties may include providing other administrative support functions. Work includes monthly reports, termination lists, maintains and processes monthly LEIE background checks. Facilitates New Employee Orientation, assist with new employee’s paperwork. Will work closely with our HR Recruiter which includes posting vacancies, attending job fairs, scheduling interviews, processing applications etc.

MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Applicants must meet the following minimum qualifications to be eligible for the position:
- Graduation from an accredited high school or GED, plus three (3) years of work experience with clerical or administrative duties.
- Each year (30 semester hours) of accredited college work in a related field may substitute for the required work experience on a year-for-year basis.
PREFERRED JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Paid work experience in a human resource department.
- Two years of Human Resources and/or clerical work experience.
- Work experience that includes the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint software.
- Demonstrate ability to read, write, and speak both English and Spanish
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Ability to work independently, to organize work efficiently and to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to maintain pleasant yet professional demeanor at all times.
- Knowledge of business terminology, office practices and procedures, spelling, punctuation, grammar, and math.
- Skill in the use of automated office equipment and Microsoft software.
- Ability to maintain clerical records, prepare reports, compose letters, while maintaining private confidential information.
- Ability to type at a speed to complete work assignments in a timely manner.
- Ability to work under conditions requiring physical stamina and the ability to work in a stressful environment.
